Online Marketing Can’t Be That Easy…

That’s right, it’s not. It takes experience and a high level of understanding. Today however I found outside of all of the tools, systems and processes we use, you still need to FEED THE MARKETING MACHINE.

With online marketing you still need to create good quality high value content and information for your brand that engages your current or potential clients.

Internet marketing like any other form of communication has to be informative and interesting or people will just move onto something else.

We are rolling out some exciting new training programs and I found myself asking “how can I offer great value to our clients?”

When you create information for your customers try to put yourself in their shoes and deliver what they want, not what you think they want.

Today I contacted some of our clients and asked them a series of questions to help me understand what they want and how we could service them better.

Interesting, some of the answers were not what I expected, however very valuable to our business.

Below are the questions every business owner should ask their customers; these may help you when understanding what your clients needs. We may be an online marketing business but these same questions will be helpful in any industry.

  1. How did you initially find us in the first place?
  2. What made you purchase our services?
  3. What were your concerns during the buying process?
  4. Once you used our product/service what problems went away?
  5. What do you think of our service so far, be HONEST here?
  6. What is one thing we could do better?
  7. What else would you like us to sell?
  8. Who else do you know could benefit from working with us?
  9. Do you know any companies we should align with?

I hope this has been of value to you. Try some of these questions with current clients and see what you learn, it could save or make you thousands of dollars.
